A nice retro café for the family to go out for breakfast with pretty good prices and just a great place to read a paper and enjoy a morning joeKid-friendliness: They have bar chairs that are pretty low seating at booths

Nice little find for a morning quick breakfast but beware or your taste buds... pancakes was bland ( need some cinnamon or vanilla to mix.) French toast was kinda eggy. Amd some French vanilla cream would be nice. Oh and buttered toast would be better then plain hard toast.

Disappointing! We came in on a Sunday morning to a full diner and had to wait for some time in a small area that began to get very full with others waiting. Staff did not greet us or connect with us even if it was only to let us know a wait time. Staff were lacking in any warmth or friendliness. We did not see a hint of a smile the whole time we were there. Food was mediocre. Atmosphere was cold. The only thing that would suggest why Dotties was full was the very low prices. We experienced nothing of what other reviewers experienced.

A functional, typical American diner that gets the job done. Delicious breakfast fare and quick service. Uncomplicated. Just the way it's supposed to be. Thanks Dottie's Cafe...I do recommend.

Friendly workers, quiet environment. Food was hot, fresh and accurate. Waitress was nice. Asked if everything was good every few minutes. I have eaten here a few times now and will definitely return for more.
