Great spot for lunch! Service was great, food tasty, and a fun atmosphere.
Pork tenderloin was HUGE! Not much flavor in the breading but it was juicy. The Kinda Ruben was pretty good too, it’s a burger with Ruben toppings. For there being a tiny little kitchen area, the food came out pretty quickly.
The place was too dark but had a few interesting things to look at. Food was just ok.
Mall tavern. Not much has changed since 1977.

Great place but I came in at 2:00 and I heard the employees saying “who the hell eats at 2 on a Thursday” and there was a large stinky man sitting at the bar watching videos on his phone at full volume
Best burgers in town, great staff, eclectic environment. A staple in this town.

Handy location in Kennedy Mall, lots of free parking. Standard , welcoming bar decor, friendly service. Fried pork tenderloin sandwich was big, crisp, tender. I added mayo and ranch and enjoyed it. McDonalds style french fries. They let you add your own salt (which I love) Burger was big, but cooked well done, so kind of dry. Mnr
Went about 230P, so didn't expect service to be great (it wasn't). Got the "Almost Rooben" (?) burger but not much flavor. Also ordered the spinach artichoke dip WHICH WAS TERRIBLE, tasted very fishy indicating spinach gone bad. Basically the fries and the beer were what I ended up paying nearly $20 (with tip) for. Doubt I'll be back unless friends overvote me.
I was walking to the restroom and heard the waitress call a customer a Dick To his face and then proceed to continue the rudeness to others making them all get up and leave.
Attached to Kennedy Mall in Dubuque, Iowa. They are locally known for their custom designed burgers, along with shoe string french fries that kind of resemble McDonald's fries. I also like their large fish sandwich, nachos with cheese sauce, pork tenderloin sandwich & chicken wings. Drinks and soda are served in glass quart canning jars, which is unique and fun! Make sure to splurge and order their specialty drink called "The Cave In"! Service is always excellent! There is no pizza here, but that is okay. I recommend highly!
