Finding a standout restaurant in Dubuque isn't always easy, but Happy Hibachi certainly makes an impression. The restaurant has a cozy and clean atmosphere, which immediately makes you feel welcome. The service was great, especially considering there was just one blonde woman doing it all—running food, waiting tables, and cleaning up. Despite being short-staffed, she handled everything efficiently, and our food came out quickly.
The menu offers a variety of options, and I was particularly impressed with the Pineapple Fried Rice and the curry—they were both delicious! If I had to critique anything, it would be the drinks, which were a bit too sweet for my taste( Thai coffee and tea). Overall, though, I enjoyed my dining experience and would definitely return to try more dishes. Happy Hibachi is a hidden gem in Dubuque!

Ordered on doordash $50 and never received my order, door dash wouldn't give me a refund because they said I needed to call the restaurant, I tried doing so and couldn't get anyone to answer, I'm out $50 and have no food!

Ordered delivery via DoorDash and never received my order despite the fact it was shown that it had been delivered and completed on the app. Tried calling twice and never got an answer. Don’t offer delivery if you are going to refuse to actually follow through and waste people’s time and money.

I ordered delivery from doordash which they deliver themselves. I received no food and after calling to resolve the issue did not get a call back and cannot get my call answered. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well as a dispute with my bank. $50 stolen by a business. What a shame

blocked me for pointing out one of their new menu items, which is an identical item to the other hibachi truck in town (funnel cake fries). thus, removing my comment.so you can blame that truck for copy you, in a facebook post you made on your OWN business account, but when you copy them it’s okay, right?just say that you can’t handle criticism from the community you rely on for profit, and call it a day.

The food is delicious and the service was great! We got the chicken hibachi and shrimp hibachi and crabmeat rangoons and all were great.
Vegetarian options: They have a veggie option.
Parking: We went to the food truck at Petsmart so there was plenty of parking.
The nicest man was working. Showed us a pic of his cute dog. His vibe was amazing. The funnel cake fries are always delicious

A new improved chef since Jan 23' that serves up savory fresh food with friendly service! A great bite! Love the HANDMADE crab ragoons! Try funnel cake fries for dessert!

Pretty good. I ordered extra rice and no veggies since last time my veggies were way over cooked. This time my shrimp was so fresh and tasted really good! The sauce is a nice addition too. Next time I’ll order extra steak
