The egg drop soup was the best I ever had, full of vegetables with delicious broth. The hot & sour was on the spicy side but delicious. The house special fried rice was friendly to my mother's reduced sodium diet and it was delicious. The other dish we ordered was chicken with Chinese vegetables. It was lightly sauced with non salty but flavorful sauce. The decorations were outstanding. My father and I took pictures of the lapidary artwork and traditional watercolor paintings. Complimentary oolong tea is served in a pot on the table. The bathrooms are very clean smelling like bleach. Which is the only smell I want in a bathroom. Staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. My family enjoyed their first visit and look forward to the next.
Dietary restrictions: Both house fried rice and chicken with Chinese vegetables were low sodium appropriate. The egg drop soup was not salty at all.

Family has been coming here for a very long time. Like a different time/place......from the parking lot to the inside decor, it's like a time capsule from the 1980s. Ordered takeaway this last time for five people, and it was the first time being back in several years, but the service was great, and the food was awesome......still my favorite egg rolls from a Chinese restaurant....only critique is that the crab rangoons could have had more cream cheese :)

Good ambiance for a large area. Had been a staple when living in Dubuque, and on our return visit, it was lacking. One dish tasted like a citrus was in the sauce and not expected. A chicken dish had pieces fried in a breading that was mushy and chicken chewy. Food rating of 4 based on past experiences but would have been a 2 based on this visit only. The server was good and efficient, didn't need to ask for more water, checked back multiple times, and would have been rated a 5. I suggest paying as you leave. I paid the server with cash and was expecting change, so I had some smaller bills to make a tip. The server was not seen again, so they got all the change, which made for a very large tip of 50%. Had to ask someone else for to go boxes. It was good service, but not that good, thus the 3. You just don't keep someone's change.

The waitress rudely came and grabbed her tip from our table and said her shift was over, so she needed her money. The food wasn't as good as it used to be.

Super friendly.
Tea is absolutely incredible and free.
Sweet and sour sauce is fire.
Good value with lunch menu.
Really salty, but I’m not salty about it
Decent Chinese food place. Nothing too crazy, but that's usually what I'm looking for. Good food in decent portions at reasonable price. What more could you ask for. Great egg rolls. Sesame chicken was sweeter than I expected, but good. House fried rice had a lot more meat in it than I'm used to getting.

I have had my share of Chinese food. I can give them a A for effort . The food looks really good and plenty of it . It simply is not very good . I move from Elgin / Dundee illinois area and they only had 3 good Chinese food places . I am fussy I guess .

Amazing restaurant, friendly staff. Service was great, a bit bust and still came back several times to get refills and check on us. Prices are fair for today’s economy, portions are large.

I will NEVER eat at this place again. Good was disgusting. My husband asked for egg foo young and they gave him chicken and broccoli and I ordered chicken and beef broccoli and got something totally different. Would not recommend this place at all.

I’m a professional truck driver and was passing by and decided to stop since there was plenty of space, the staff was polite but I have never tasted such watered down Chinese, the noodles were spaghetti and the chicken was out of a can and not to mention the egg roll was tasting burnt and saturated in grease!! I’ll never stop there again
