The lady who was serving was rude. Also I ordered sweet and sour chicken to find out there is no sweet and sour sauce no sign was posted to let anyone know. The food was cold and there was hardly and vegetables in the vegetable chow main.

Awesome food! Place was very clean and staff was very friendly!
Food was real good. Great portion amounts.
Need to change the hours online says they open at 10 so I was just going to wait a few minutes as I arrived maybe 10 minutes early so I had no problem with waiting but then I was informed that they really don't open until 1030 and the manager of the store is aware what time it says they open but hasn't changed it
There chicken fried rice is awful. Counted two peas in it some of it was just steam rice not fried no flavor
They have done an AMAZING rehab of this store - I was mind-boggled! It's gorgeous, bright and opulent inside. I got back to my hotel late at night and all the restaurants were closed. HY Vee has a huge selection of pre-made, delicious food choices. Grab a fork, I forgot!
I really like our 3 HyVee stores in Dubuque, Iowa, however, it sometimes really bothers me that I am constantly "picking up" on inconsistencies amongst them. For many grocery items, the prices vary, sometimes substantially. I personally go to all 3 stores & I am guessing that the average resident of Dubuque just visits 1 store (the one closest/handiest to their home) and does not notice this. I also see inconsistencies in how they each operate their Market Grille restaurants (waiter staff/food prep & portion sizes). Not sure if some of this is intentional, but for someone that visits all 3 stores it can be a bit ffrustrating.
Went to get take out chinese. I got white rice, General Tso chicken, sesame chicken and crab rangoons. The entrees literally were exactly the same. No spiciness in the Tso. The crab Rangoons weren't crisp at all and ended up being really tough as a result. The sweet and sour sauce was not only ice cold, but the 2 oz containers barely had an ounce in them. I suggest going elsewhere.
Love shopping there! always great prices and great seletions of items. Not far from the Baymont so easy to find when we need things.
I've tried Hy-vee Chinese several times, each time hoping the previous visit was not the norm. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed every time. While I don't expect gourmet eating from a grocery store, I have not ever had anything at Hy-vee Chinese that's anything above extremely mediocre. Today's visit (Asbury) was the final straw - Vegetable Chicken that seemed as if it had about 75% too much water in the broth/gravy and Lo-Mein noodles (I'm not sure they were not spaghetti) with the same washed out flavor. I'm done.
