My wife and I came in for the lunch special. We were greeted by a women with a hot pink claw clip in her hair. My wife asked if she had any booths open and if not if we could be placed on a wait list for one. She got visibly upset by this and waved her hand around and stated that she won’t do that for us. At this point in time there was a booth available but she refused to sit us there. She was very rude and snippy. It was very unprofessional and not a warm person to have greeting. The next group that came in she sat them at the booth we asked for and looked directly at my wife. At the end of the day, it’s a just a booth. Although it’s a principle of it. Maybe it was just a bad day for her, it was very unprofessional. Our actual server was a male, I didn’t catch his name, he did have a bun. He was amazing! The food is ALWAYS great, the service is a hit or miss.

Love coming here for lunch for work when in town.Always super quick and attentive service. Does a really nice job and you can easily squeeze in and out to fulfill a 1 hr lunch break.Go to is the hibachi lunch.I recently stopped for dinner and the sushi is very good as well, this takes longer (as it should) and I’ve never been disappointed.

I was with a friend on 03/16/2024, my friend was excited that she wanted to show me the cooking show they offer here, however the receptionist ignored her in such an outrageous way and told them to wait 25 minutes, however my friend insisted on wanting to wait 45 just for me to have the experience she had had before in this place. She spoke very highly of the show, we never ate here because we had to go somewhere else, but her attention to this woman's customer seemed rude to me

No one is obliged to speak in another language if it is not to their liking but on 03/16/2024 there were 2 girls at the reception I let one of them know that I needed 2 spaces for the show where they cook she told me to wait 25 minutes I told her yes He told me what is your name, I told him Elsie, he asked me something else and I didn't understand him, I told him I'm sorry, I'm not understanding, come on, my English is not good, and it's not his language either. So it was a little complicated to understand what she kept telling me, I stayed there right in the little seat there. For 45 minutes she had told me 25 but I wanted to understand that there were many people, my friend told me come on, she was never friendly and it seems that she never reserved the space for you. I left sad because I waited so long for my friend to see the great work and attention of the chefs. I had been there before, and they had never made me feel like ignored trash. They had good care until they left this girl in charge. However, I have seen the chefs before and I love their food and animation.

Excellent food with great menu options for sushi or for dinners if you don't want to sit through the teppanyaki show. Our group landed in a comfortable, private room and our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The sushi was terrific, and I enjoyed the yaki udon.

What a great place to celebrate a birthday! This was a Tuesday reservation at 4:30 pm. We were seated immediately and ordered food around 4:50 pm. We had a fabulous chef at the grill! Great jokes and showmanship. He was wearing a mask, which I respect, but it made it difficult to understand him at times, when he was talking directly to you. With the grill dinners, soup and salad were included. I found the ginger salad dressing interesting but the soup tasted like slightly flavored water with a mushroom slice or 2 in it. Not a fan. Hubby had the steak and scallops which he absolutely loved. My sons had the chicken, and it too was a hit. I ordered the Chicken and Filet. I loved the flavorful chicken but the filet tasted off. I even had my hubby taste it and he said his steak was more flavorful. I had the leftovers the next day for lunch. The filet smelled slightly like liver when reheated (not sure why I ate it at that point). I do wish I had said something at the time but it would have been difficult at the grill. I did end up with a bit of tummy trouble the next day so I suspect it may have been my filet. I'm the only one who had the filet and was the only one who got sick for 48 hours. I will stick to just the chicken next time or maybe the steak instead of the filet. I did want to say that had it been offered, we may have ordered dessert as the pictures we saw before ordering dinner, were enticing. I found it strange that they just started clearing plates and not bringing the dessert menu. There were empty grills so I don't think it was because they needed the station. We will be back again but may try the kitchen selections instead of the grill. If we do the grill again, I'm staying clear of the filet.
This place was crazy good! Food is big servings, extremely plentiful and delicious. The Chef entertained us so well and was very friendly. The restaurant was clean, spacious and decorated as one would expect with a good touch of comfort. Can't wait to go back again!!
