One of my favorite places to go in Dubuque! Get you some good ole Iowa service and food. It's such a cute place too takes you back in time.

The Classic Iowa loose meat sandwich. Have to give it a try at least once. It's not easy to replicate.

Had a chance to visit this iconic chain. Very pleased with the experience. There’s nothing else like a maid-rite sandwich, it tastes kinda like a slider especially with mustard/pickle/onion relish they top it with. The onion rings were also really good, skip the pork tenderloin. Had to get a Vanilla Malt Shake which rounded out the meal perfectly. Restaurant was very clean and the staff was extremely polite. Will return.

As were leaving this town, we stop here for some breakfast. We didn't enjoy the orange juice, but the food was really great. I also liked playing the mini juke box in the both. 👍

If you've ever spent any time in the Dubuque, IA area and have not been told by locals to go to Maid-rite for lunch?? You missed out!! This place is as noteworthy at the Mines of Spain!! No trip complete until you have eaten a Maid-rite crumbled beef sandwich! My favorite is the BBQ Texas burger!! But my husband grew up on them and he will always get the original!

Thierry menu has expanded to include something for everyone! They now serve breakfast! We are going soon for biscuits and gravy!

Thank you for having such great people working there for you, they truly add the Maid rite experience 😀

I visited the Dubuque, IA Maid-Rite about 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 7. I ordered the Maid-Rite basket which consists of a Maid-Rite, fries and a drink (lemonade for me). The food itself was all good especially the Maid-Rite sandwich (I used to live in Marshalltown, IA a few blocks away from Taylor's Maid-Rite in that town). The service was just OK and perhaps a little on the cold side. I was not offered a refill on my lemonade, so I guess this means no free refills at this restaurant (ask for a glass of water or pay for another drink if you're still thirsty!).

We had heard about the Iowa state sandwich. Our service was excellent, the food fresh and hot and this was well worth the stop!

We went about 15 miles out of our way to go to Maid Rite, which we don't have in Wisconsin. It was delicious and employees very nice and helpful.

One of our favorites! The food is always hot and delicious! The service is top notch and we even played the cute 50's jukebox at the tables. It's a must stop!
