Arrived 22 March. I've been here before, and I had to try again. Ordered pizza. You do wait a bit for pizza, but it's because they're always busy. The order was wrong, but our server made it right and had 2 more done correctly. Great place to eat. Delicious food.

Just love this classic local place, the ambiance it great for a couple or family. The pizza was outstanding, too 5 ever. The service was good even on a busy night and all at reasonable prices.

I don't understand all the hype of people that live in Dubuque.Makes me wonder if they have had Italian food in Chicago or New York.There isn't a good Italian spot in Dubuque. Which is very sad.

We have passed by Marco's on several occasions and thought it looked like an old school local restaurant with a lot of character. We tried it tonight and were not disappointed. We arrived at around 5:00 to get a table, looking at other reviews. By 5:30 the tables were loaded. The ambience here is unmatched. Small, quaint, dark and very very welcoming. We had garlic bread and mozzarella sticks as appetizers and both came out quickly. Main courses at our table were pizza, the hot spaghetti, manicotti and cannelloni. All were delicious. If you value ambiance as much as the food and wine, this is a great bet.
The pizza is pretty good albeit I think it's worse than it was 10 to 15 years ago. Something changed. It's pricier now too. I'm not sure if there was an ownership change or what.

Great old school Dubuque dining. Their pizza is my favorite in town. It's not fast, but its great. Other options are excellent, too, like hot spaghetti and cheese bread.
