The atmosphere is awesome and there are always great acts! I saw a Michael Jackson tribute concert there in 2015 and it was incredible!

Saw a comedy show on Saturday night. The noise from the slot machines was so loud it was hard to hear the show. It was loud enough that the performer on stage commented several times regarding the noise because it was distracting him. Very annoying.

In fall of 2019, I booked 4 spots and a table for an April 2020 Black Stone Cherry concert. Because of Covid, the concert got pushed back to fall of 2021. I called and spoke with Marty Meyers at the Moon Bar who said he would refund my tickets because we weren't able to make the new date. That was before the rescheduled concert in mid October. I've never seen a refund, and Marty is no longer answering or returning my calls. I also called and asked to speak with someone above Marty, but was told he was the only one who could refund my money. It is now December and I still haven't seen a refund.

We were here for about an hour in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday during a trip to Dubuque. Small casino with mostly slots, a few table games, but not a lot. Busy, but not packed. Plexiglass between players for roulette. Masks required but some people were not following, although employees did their best to remind them. We found it interesting that you had to have your mask up at all times except if you were actively, eating drinking - or smoking. Like second hand smoke damage isn't as much of a health issue as COVID.... :) There were packaged handwipes you could use to wipe off the machines yourselves between players, but we didn't observe anyone using or doing this. Buffet still closed. Had to wait in line to get a beer even though a bartender was free at the other end of the bar. Doesn't sound like there is any plan for live music or shows in the near future or summer. Convenient place if you are in Dubuque and need a gambling fix. Would really like to see it change to no smoking at some point. A rather subdued and weird vibe, which I guess is common in this COVID era. Not our cup of tea, but wish them luck.

I come here all the time an me an my brother were playing the machine drinking soda he proceeded to change machines with his cup in his hand one seat over the supervisor comes over an says you need to put your mask up as my brother was taking a drink he showed her his mask was around his neck before he could sit down she said Pull it up Now I'm across the way playing he pulled his mask up she said just do it now like I said !! I said you dont have to be rude just do what I say I said now!! First off im not a child last I checked children were not allowed in the casino, where are your people skills, you cant talk to people like they are your children I told her one you dont disrespect people like that we have ears we always comply but this attitude is unacceptable so I spoke with someone from security because she called them like we were not in compliance so I told him there is another casino I dont have to be here getting disrespected than another customer said the same thing happened to him an his wife the lady was rude to them while they were eating hope she gets some time off with her kids cause clearly we are not her children so we left an wont be back .

We came here on a Saturday night. It was moderately busy. You could tell the Casino was focused on cleanliness/safety with staff wearing masks, wiping dice between players, spacing at machines/tables and availability of masks as you enter. Players had the option to wear masks or not (we kept ours on and would prefer them to be required). We drove from Wisconsin to play table games (craps, Texas hold’em and blackjack) since those games are not yet reopened in WI. The dealers were friendly and we really enjoyed our visit.

We bought tickets to a show, arrived a bit late (930pm, show was said to go until 11pm). So when we got there no one was at Will Call (and no one was able to get us our tickets). Strange but we just went in and a door guy stamped us. We then tried to get down to the floor section (where we bought our tickets) and the employees wouldn’t let us down because “we didn’t have tickets.” It was a frustrating game of logic, like trying to explain to a child why they can’t do something, but we kept trying to say “we bought tickets. We’d love to have them but no one that works here can get us them. There’s no will call right now. We bought tickets though. Here’s our receipt.” We then *showed* our receipt for the show where it said “floor section.” A security guy came over to try to figure things out, went away to talk to a superior, and came back to note that “his boss wanted him to kick us out, but he’ll let us stay if we sit in the back.” Excuse me...you’ll *let* us stay? How gracious. All that is to say, buying tickets here seemingly does nothing for your ability to attend a show, which feels like a fraud to me.

We really enjoyed this casino. The friendly staff and win ability at the black jack tables make this a good place. Including the prizes offered for points, this is our favorite casino.
