I’m always on the hunt for a dive with character and characters inside it. This place did not disappoint! Tuesdays are buy one get one night. There are plenty of TVs for watching sports, news, Murder She Wrote, and so forth. I sat at the bar with about 12 other patrons and was waited on by Rachel (who is awesome) promptly. The Busch Light in the can was ice cold and good classic country was playing on the jukebox.

This bar was a total spur of the moment stop for a karaoke night while on a weekend vacation to Dubuque. The drinks were cheap and good, the karaoke was a blast and we were so glad to get to do two songs in a row, the karaoke dj Roger was so amazing in personality and in singing, and everyone in the bar were just so, so crazy nice to us chicagoans. We felt so welcomed and had so much fun. This bar is awesome! Definitely will be a “must visit” next time we are in the area.

Me and a co worker were talking how we have been driving by this place for 25 years, going between Madison and Des Moines. We both thought, "I'd like to stop in there once." Well we had a work meeting in DBQ, and decidedly to go visit. Were not disappointed. Seems like a great neighborhood bar. Weeknight and there were people from 21 to 65+ in there. All having a good time. Had a musical bingo thing going on. That was fun too.
