OK, so it's not the food. It's the customer service for me. I mean, every time I come in this place, here come the attitudes. The mad looking faces and poor customer service. No smile at all, just dead faces. Nobody's working in the front halfthetime, and they take their sweet time when finally acknowledging they see you. When you first come in, it's just a bunch of cluttered boxes on the floor stacked up. It's not clean inside smeared windows, stained floors, and slow on making your food cause problems as well for the recipient. I wish they would get it together here as this ues to be one of my favorite restaurants.

We always get delivery. Its my son's favorite pizza. Tonight for some reason the website changed to carryout. we always usually just log in and order no worries. I called about 10 mins after the time and found out it was for carryout. Great service from the employees. The delivery guys are always polite and on time. This will continue to always be our go to place. You guys Rock!

When calling to order for delivery I specifically asked if I could have pizza delivered at a certain time and was told I could as close to the time as they could. It sounded like I was talking to someone at a call center and not the actual store. At the end of the call they said it would be 35-45 minutes and I asked again can it believed later (1 hour) and was told again it could be. I received the confirmation and it again said 45 minutes and it was delivered in a little over a half hour. If I had known it was going to be so far off the time I would have done pick up because I needed it at a certain time. That was the whole reason for confirming this could be done in the first place. Very displeased with the service.

Ordered a pizza at 12am. After waiting for our delivery that was estimated to arrive in 38 minutes, at 1:11am, we called to check on the status of our order and she said “it is on its way” mind you the gps tracker showed the delivery car in the parking lot of papa johns the entire time. Finally around 1:45 am the pizza arrives and is ICE cold. It looks like it had been smashed and tossed around. Pizza sauce busted all over the box and all over the food. It was absolutely inedible. I call the restaurant to get a refund and their horribly unprofessional and disrespectful employee, Amanda, answers. After describing the situation, Amanda goes SILENT. Says nothing. I literally thought we lost connection and said “hello are you there” and she says “yes” I then ask her again for a refund and she proceeds to tell me “I don’t know what to tell you, maybe you should have done carry out instead” then tells me she’s not refunding me and hangs up on me. So after 2 hours of waiting, receiving inedible food, and being disrespected by the staff, I call back once again and this time someone much more pleasant answers. She informs me that she has been unable to get ahold of the driver who delivered our pizza for the last hour. She informs us that the driver had departed the store with our pizza an hour prior to our phone call and never returned. I am not sure what is going on here or who is running this establishment, but I would rather go hungry than to ever even consider ordering from this place ever again. Save your money, save your time and eat literally anywhere else but here.

Fresh eggs and milk from a local Iowa farm used to make the pizza dough.Lush, ripe red tomatoes picked from the vine on a warm summer afternoon, puréed and blended with fresh garlic and oregano to make the sauce.The largest, healthiest hog, raised on a grass-fed, grass-finished diet, free to roam the pasture and drink crisp spring water.Hard-working employees keep the store clean and have orders prepared in 10-20 minutes.This is what crosses my mind every time I bite into a slice of pizza from Papa Johns in Dubuque.

Pizza was mid, but that’s every papa John’s. The customer service was super weird though. I walked in for my carry out order and I saw two people making pizzas who didn’t say a word to me. I stood there in silence for 3 mins getting awkward glances from the employees until I finally got the courage to say “hello can I pick up my carry out order” nobody responded, so I said “helloooo” and the mean lady told me “give me a minute”. Whatever though, at least the pizza was alright. Papa bless.Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza dude
