Stopped in for dinner while in Dubuque. Started off with the brussel sprouts which were good! Caesar salad was great but had an unexpected spice to it! We did wish the jalapeño cheddar bread was warm….
For mains we got the chicken pesto pasta and the bison bolonese. Chicken pesto was just ok, needed more flavor. Bison bolonese was fantastic 10/10.

We stopped in based on reviews and glad we did. We had Brussels and PBJ stuffed jalapeños for appetizers-both were great! Lamb chops, tenderloin and seasonal pasta for entrees, again, all delicious!

We dined on a very busy Friday night when they just changed to their Fall menu. Staff were very attentive. The manager and chef, Kim visited our table. We ordered squash risotto and grilled New Zealand lamb chops. Delicious.

What an amazing meal! Jambalaya for my husband, I had exquisite lamb chops with apple, mint chutney and vegetables that were outstanding. We were in Dubuque for a Plein Air art show. Worth the drive for wonderful art and an exceptional meal. From the Chicago area.

AMAZING!!!! i had the crab mac and my boyfriend had the filet. we shared the watermelon caprese and peach cheesecake dessert. amazing service and sweet as can be owner!! we can’t wait to come back!

Culinary gem in downtown Dubuque. The atmosphere is calming - quiet and slightly dim. The service from Marissa was attentive and well-timed. The food was spectacular- not a bite was left on a plate. Highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful experience at Pepper Sprout! On their summer menu we enjoyed the Dip into Summer appetizer which was garlic forward and came with delicious fresh soft pretzel sticks. The spicy garlic Caesar salad was incredible! For our entrees we had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin and Shrimp and Scallops. We ended up sharing both. It was some of the best food I have ever eaten! The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere is elegant and relaxing at the same time. Very highly recommend.

We found this place by accident, met the owner when I was being a tourist and taking pictures of the murals!!! Super cool lady & kickass place!! The bartender Eric was great & his drinks were superb!! Excellent atmosphere & great locals!! Unfortunately we had other dinner plans, but the food looked & smelled amazing!!! Will definitely go back!!!
