Melissa was our server and daughter to the nice lady who owns this place. And she was fabulous. She also makes all of the pies. Which caught me off guard cause they were so good you would think only a sweet old lady could make something that good. I'm a big fan of Rhodys. Possibly gunna be my next tattoo! ;)
Awesome food. Their pie is amazing. Your cool typical “dive” but without the stuff that comes with a “dive”. People are amazing there. They are hospitable and hard working. They seem to enjoy to be there and serve customers.

Ordered the fish sandwich special, waitress told me that it would be cod. When it came, it was literally just a cooked from frozen square fish patty that I could get at McDonald's, but with nothing else on it! Just fish patty, bun and a packet of tarter sauce. Quite disappointing, it was at least cooked ok which is the only reason I gave two stars. Waitress never asked how things were at the end. Largely disappointed with the food.
I was looking for a place to easily accommodate my group of 14 for lunch on a Saturday. With short notice they got us set up in the back room, Melissa delivered perfect service, all 14 meals came out at once, all the food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I've driven past this place a thousand times and never gave it a thought. Now I will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal and friendly staff. Thank you Rhody's. You were yet another part of a memorable weekend.

It was rather busy when we first arrived. It felt a little warm and stuffy inside.The special of the day was an open face sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy.It did not specify the kind of meat. When I placed my order, I said I would like the hot roast beef open face sandwich. The waitress said okay. When my food came, the meat was pork. The waitress should have told me the sandwich was pork when I ordered beef. When I asked her about it, all she said was, "Sorry."That was a waste of money.I was very disappointed.
