Cute spot for a bridal shower, excellent food and service.
Closed during hours it says open. Looked cool from the outside I guess haha
Just a bar. If you expected wine tasting experience - this is not a right place to go. No stories behind the wine, small place, serving just wine, no options to pair with cheese, fruits, meats, etc.
Historical building with some old machinery. Maybe good at night with live bands. But at day time is a place to stop by for 10 minutes.
This review is solely based off of the wine and the petite for dessert. Good selection of wine for those that like sweet and dry. Servers are very friendly. If you’re in the area this place is worth a stop.
The Murder Mystery Dinner was excellent!!
Wine and beer were okay. The prices were very high compared to other winery's and restaurants.
Very neat area. Not welcomed at all. Finally found a place to sit. Sat there for quite awhile. Got a menu, no explanation on their wine testing. Waited a lot longer. Finally just left the winery. Only cool thing, was walking up on a path we could enjoy the beautiful Mississippi!!
Had such a fun Friday night here listening to live music & enjoying a wine flight. We ordered a gluten free pizza which was great! Love that they had allergen friendly options. The wines were a tad too sweet for my personal taste, but my partner loved all of the wines in our flight! The ambiance was great- only recommendation would be to have a better organized process for ordering and closing out, but that is an easy fix! Loved it.
We thought the winery was very cute and the patio is a lovely place to hang out and enjoy a drink. It was very busy when we visited, but we weren't in any rush.
Beautiful view with hanging baskets on outside deck. Food and service were awesome.

The food was good. The problem was with the service. My family is diverse, some are native English speaking and others are not. When we sat down a nice young woman asked if we needed service in Spanish. She said it in Spanish. A member of our party said yes (in Spanish). The young lady went to get our waters. The woman behind the bar told her to quit showing off, sent her to the kitchen and we didn't see the Spanish speaking individual again. The woman behind the bar took over our service. She repeatedly made mistakes with our order. I saw her write it all down correctly. I don't believe she was enthusiastic about the diversity of our group as she never smiled. She said the absolute minimum to us to take our orders. I don't recommend this establishment for a diverse group.
Good service, with friendly waitress! It was busy when we arrived, the kitchen was a little behind. The spinach and artichoke dip was not worth $14. The pretzel bites with beer cheese was very good but I wish that it was a 1 giant pretzel instead of bites. The best appetizer was the Southwest chicken egg rolls. We loved the chicken margarita pizza, and my favorite drink was the strawberry rhubarb wine!
We recently held our wedding reception at Stone Cliff Winery and were extremely pleased with every aspect of the experience. We loved working with Jodi.....her customer service is top notch - very organized, professional and accommodating every step of the way. The bar staff added a fun vibe to the evening showering our guests with their "Iowa friendliness!" We highly recommend this unique venue for an event or even just for a visit if you are passing through Dubuque!
Brewery and winery colocated. We came for the beer. Selection of 5 (all very tasty) house beers and light food menu. Kids gobbled up all the food on the menu. Beautiful outdoor seating area facing the river.
The wines were all sweet or super sweet except for two. I guess if I had done better research we would have skipped it. The place is very cool and staff were friendly, but they need more varieties of wines.
