Food was ok, waitress acted like we were an interruption to her day, She was, however, fast. Not much to say about ambiance. I would eat there again, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Everything was great on our visit today! The staff were so kind and on top of all of our needs. Hubby & I both got a breakfast skillet which was so good! Don't miss out!

Good atmosphere loved the fireplace. Wait staff was excellent. I was not impressed with the food. Had the steak and eggs. Asked for the steak will done not rubber. It was hard as a rock and shiny tell me you can't cook a steak well done and not be juicy. You don't just throw it in the grill with the flat plate in top and cook it you take the extra time. The customer knows your busy but cooking a steam takes extra you flip it more slowly. It's only gonna take a minute or two. That's expected. Hash browns were good edges weren't runny that's a plus I hate runny eggs. She had the hash very good. She's a scrambled eggs person I don't care for scrambled she liked them. Wasn't impressed with the bisquits and gravy. Asked for a half order I guess you only give 1/2 of a biscuit. Gravy had a decent taste just never had the sausage like that and not enough in my opinion. But my favorite breakfast is biscuits and gravy. Has been for the last 30 years. I just very seldom change what I order. If I do is usually steak or ham. All in all the experience was very good and she would like to come back again in the future. If your wondering if I've had any cooking experience I used to own Little Joe's pizza in Moline IL. My old Facebook page is still up. But I ran the whole 55 seat restaurant by myself for 30 months before I had to close. Not saying I am the greatest cook but I cooked everything that went out the door as if I was cooking it for myself to take home. When I closed I had a 4.6 reading out of 5. So I was proud of that though there was some ones that were posted not one time to my face sis anyone ever say anything bad. I know of some of those ones never entered my restaurant and not one customer ever said they're was a better pizza in the quad cities. So that's my story and I'm sticking with it. But please continue the good work and continue success. I wish I had never had been set back by contractors for almost a year. Take care we'll be back.
The food was pretty good and the service was quick. I'll be back there for sure.

Upon arrival , they sat us right away. Clean table and waitress brought drinks right away. The food was good and plenty of it. Then... the booth behind my wife and I who were there before we sat down began talking loud enough for most booths around us to hear everything. Thanks for sharing, but we aren't interested in anything you said. They were kind enough to start throwing in some F'bombs for us, which is where we draw the line. We told the waitress who did nothing, and then my wife went to the hostess stand and requested to speak with a manager. She was told there was no manager there, and when asked who was in charge, the girl got a deer in the headlight look. We paid the bill and said we won't be back and also found we we given a "leverage fee" for $1. Be aware that they put it on the bill and won't take off. Unfortunately, what could have been a good experience quickly went away, and we will be looking for other restaurants when in Dubuque.

Can't cook a steak right to save their life but other than that the rest of the food was good. Nothing exceptional but the pancakes were delicious... Asked for a medium rare steak and got one well done. They offered to bring me another one cooked right and the cook cut into it twice to check quality before sending it out. One cut was 75% through the steak almost cutting it in half. The second cut was all the way through like cutting perpendicular from the middle of the first cut all the way to the outer edge. I guess they've never heard of a meat thermometer or the fact that you never cut into cooked meat without letting it rest for atleast 5 min but 10 min is best. Part of the steak was well done and other parts were actually raw. They should just take steak off their menu. I rarely complain about food. I'm not a picky person but this was kind of ridiculous.

The walls by our booth were filthy and a cleaning person walked back and forth numerous times with a wet mop and where she mopped in front of the fireplace the corners have a ton of dark spots. The vents in the ceiling were really dirty too. Isn't my first time there. Thank God the food is good.
