After watching Mark Wiens explore the food scene in Qatar on YouTube, I was inspired to try it for myself. While they don’t serve Mandi here, the Biryani is the closest you’ll find in Dubuque—and it’s fantastic. The food was truly amazing; I loved it!
Just enjoyed a most delicious chicken mango dinner at Swagat. The perfectly seasoned melt-in-your-mouth chicken was served in a creamy, flavorful sauce paired with fragrant basmati rice and an amazing garlic Naan! And, the ecstatic delight on my dinner partner’s face made me regret not having a mango lassi. There was “no room” for dessert. Service was gracious and attentive. I am already looking forward to my next meal here.
The soup was very authentic and flavorful, served nice and hot—perfect to order when you’re not feeling well. The mango lassi is an absolute must-have drink. Great service as well!
