We've been going to Vinnie's for years. We now live an hour away and still make a trip once and a while because we LOVED the food and atmosphere so much. We brought another couple with us on Saturday evening that had never been there before. We arrived early for our reservation, but it was too busy to be seated early. There wasn't room at the bar for the four of us, so we went downstairs for a drink while we waited and enjoyed our time. When it was time for our table to be ready we were seated right away. It took our waitress a bit to get our drink order and bring us water. We noticed that tables around us were seated after us, but order before us. When getting ready to order, we were told they were out of Chicken Parmesan and lasagna. Our waitress seemed distracted, overwhelmed or new to the job. We were a table of four and at one point a basket of bread was brought to us with 2 pieces in it. I normally don't leave reviews like this, but felt disappointed about our experience. We traveled an hour away with friends that had never been before and it was not what we used to experience.
Out chicken parm took for ever to come, then the chicken was burnt and dry. The manager apologized and offered something else because that was the last chicken parm. While trying to eat it found a long hair in the food. Keep in mind I'm bald. Food lacked flavor. Never again
Wonderful service for a special celebration. Food was hot. Lasagna and linguini with artichokes and chicken amazing. Baked penne was good.
I have never had a worse Italian meal than last night. Special was chicken Parmesan. Chicken had no sauce or anything on top of it. It was tough and the crust was too well done. The spaghetti underneath had very little marinara sauce on it and was full of a sticky cheese, which I could hardly chew. It was just too cheesy.
I had Chicken Marsala, served with Fettuccine. It was covered in thick dark brown gravy. It was not great. The chicken was tender, but the gravy ruined it. My husband ordered Veal Parmigiana. The veal was ok, a bit thick. The pasta had an ok sauce. Portions of pasta were huge, but quality was not. BTW, my husband and I are both 2nd Generation Italian-Americans from Chicago area. Would not go back.Sorry.
In town for one night. Good basic Italian, with reasonable prices. Service was quick And friendly.
I was there and overheard a employee being talked about by who I assume was another worker who was probably in higher status I just think it's was unprofessional and disrespectful and needs better service

Staff doesn't seem to care you are there. Food is sub-par. Twice we've tried pizza and twice we've been disappointed. The Alfredo is not authentic or good, too thick and not enough flavor. Tiramisu is just wrong. The spumoni and espresso martinis are good though. I recommend sitting in bar area as both times we say in dining area server forgot our drinks and took forever to bring us our check, we felt trapped. Sitting in bar side, we at least we're able to get the best tenders attention when we needed something. Staff shouldn't be allowed to look at phones, cause it seems to be all they are good at :( I wanted this place to be good, but it just isn't.

Everything was satisfactory. Definitely not worthy of a 5 star rating but a ok place to eat. It’s a casual restaurant with ok Italian food. As a bonus, you get salad and garlic bread with your entree. Personally I didn’t like the pile of grated Parmesan cheese slathered on the bread. Free street parking after during the week. During our visit, all wait staff appeared to be rather young and not so polished. Smiling and speaking up can help when discussing options.

The service was excellent! The food was very good! Plan on splitting your own checks as they don't accommodate for that, also the water tasted off. The salad is soo good the Alfredo sauce could use more garlic flavor the bread is on point and the drinks are even better, definitely our go to when in the area
We thought the building and decor was nice and had high hopes. Our server was very nice. Unfortunately the food fell flat. Nobody really liked their meal and nothing felt fresh.
While this isn't a frequent stop for us, it is a common dinner spot for us when passing through the area for many years. We enjoyed another meal recently. Food was good as always - their Italian menu is very good.
Service was good too, though they appeared to be a bit lite on staff, the team was hustling and kept up well.

Much different than the first time I was here about 4 years ago. A table of 5 adults & 1 11 year old, they gave us 1 small bowl of salad to split between 4 adults. The salad bowl was enough for 2 people. The garlic bread searved was good and they were willing to give more of that. Sodas were $4 each. A kids meal was $14. The alfredo was super thick and hardly no flavor. The chicken parmesan was huge, but a lot of fat on the chicken.
