When you have a $25 entre, you expect cloth napkins and nice flatware; instead it was $.05 napkins and $.15 flatware. We ordered the bruschetta; the balsamic glaze was wonderful. We ordered the lasagna to share. There is a $9.95 charge to split, because of the large salad and garlic bread. The salad and lasagna were tasty. My husband ordered an Old Fashion drink. The serving was generous and not over priced.

first of all, they didn't have my open table reservation.. wait staff was ok.. they really didn't do much to work with the people at our table.. salads had very little dressing on them.. was like eating it raw didn't come back to offer additional water.. I probably won't go back.

Wow, on everything! Old school charm and decor, with amazing service and food. Definitely start with the Calimari and an Old fashion. Both are excellent. Next the salad with the house dressing and garlic bread were next level as well. The Fettuccine Alfredo, Seafood Italiano, Lasagna, Masala, and Seafood Special on the menu were all top notch. I would recommend it 10 times out of ten. We will definitely be back. Visited on July, 5th

Outstanding food! Best we've had in years! The lasagna was fantastic. Nice atmosphere, good service and within walking distance from our hotel. We'll be back next time we are in town.

Vinny's is a long-time favorite, never disappoints. Though we prefer the ambiance at the flagship location in Galena, Dubuque's restaurant has charm and our server was attentive and friendly, despite taking care of several tables and bartending as well.

4 adults for dinner, 4 different entrees. One person GF/DF. Salad came and dressing for gf/df person was supposed to be balsamic vinegar (it was a paste, not a liquid) and olive oil. People who ate the garlic bread loved it. Entrees were big portions and well priced. Salads hit the table and within 3 min so did the entrees. We sent the entrees back to the kitchen with the food runner so we could enjoy our salads, and when the entrees came back they were cold. Wait staff did not acknowledge the bungle, nor offer to warm up the food. We felt quite rushed through our meal. Will not likely return.

Food was excellent with very good service. Their policy of one check per table is inconvenient at minimum. Three couples not knowing the policy and trying to put enough cash together to pay a nearly $200 bill. May have lost a customer when doing dinner as a group.

This was our first time at the Dubuque location as we have previously dined at the one in Galena several times. As always, the food was just right and the price is reasonable. There was a family of 8 in the area with a small child which made the place feel inviting and it looks like people of all just come there. Located on a fun street with other restaurants and bars.

Traditional Italian food in a homey, traditional Italian restaurant setting. Picked this place for dinner because we were in the mood for Italian, and the food and ambiance were great and what was anticipated. Service was a tad slow for how relatively uncrowded it was, but the server could not have been nicer and willing to try to meet our requests at every turn. We would definitely try it again next time we are passing this way.

We have been here a few times while on vacation. Server did not do a great job on checking on us. Restaurant was not very busy.

Seated and took 10 minutes before being greeted by anyone, ordered drinks which took another 10 minutes, ordered our food which came 45 min later, my wife's food was cold and had to be sent back. A table of six next to us was seated 5 min after us who ate their entire meal and desserts and left before getting our food. Positive note the waitress did remove my wife's meal from the bill. You folks need to hire some trained wait staff instead of employing high schoolers.

Way too much sauce. Couldn't even taste the pasta. Salad and bruschetta was amazing though!

We were there for a friend's birthday and it was the perfect place. Great service and food! Atmosphere was perfect, not too loud which was great!
