We were on a mission to find great dive bars in dubuque and this was our favorite. Old school feel, so many vintage photos on the walls, the tap handle collection is awesome and the owner was welcoming! Will definitely be back for a visit when we're in the area!

After the games you have to stop in and try a crusher. We have no idea whats in them, but there really good. As far as the bar its just that a good old fashion drinking bar

The Walnut is one of my favorite bars of all time. It was super close to campus and they have cheaper drinks than places downtown. Unfortunately they don't have food, but they do have snacks! They have an amazing drink called a crusher, is a must have if you are stopping in to visit! I'm the back room you can see pictures of everyone who has made a memory at this place! Every time I go back to Dubuque, The Walnut is one of my stops I always make.
