Love chatting with the owner and learning more about his roasting process. Cost is very comparable to other shops in Dubuque. The building has plenty of space to sit and work for a couple of hours. I appreciate the background music and the different local connections that can be made in a place like this. I've made this a weekly rotation of mine, and it's great!

We discovered this shop while walking around the redeveloped area downtown. I’m glad we found it. The space is nice, the coffee was great and so was the service. The folks in the lofts there have a great place to go.

Fits right into the charm of the Millwork District. I love stopping by when there happens to be live music. I ordered a hot matcha on my last visit, but unfortunately, it really missed the mark. The flavor just didn’t come together (really gritty...and quickly separated from the milk). I ended up not finishing it - kind of a bummer, especially at $6. That said, the avocado toast, though, was delicious. Not a bad spot, but I plan to skip the matcha next time.

Placed an online order, arrived at 12:20 which was the pick up time on receipt and told my order was cancelled because they close the kitchen at 12. What’s the point of a lunch menu? Maybe turn off online ordering to prevent customers from ordering and paying just to drive 20 minutes to the location and be told your order was cancelled.

I’ve been coming to this cafe for years, and it never disappoints! The coffee is consistently amazing. The food is equally fantastic, with a great variety of options that never fail to satisfy. On top of that, the staff is friendly and welcoming, making each visit feel like a special experience. Food maybe good but the service at the counter leaves a lot to be desired.
Vegetarian options: We have visited Wayfarer multiple times. They now have fewer choices that are not as good. Our paninis were made with lettuce rather than spinach which does not heat well. Our side salads were nothing but greens and white onions served with ranch dressing. Half of their space is now dedicated to wine. We won't be back. What a shame.

When I stopped in on Saturday, I ordered, sat down, and discovered the wi-fi wasn't working. There wasn't anything posted about issues with it, and nothing was said when I asked for the wi-fi password. It was a "discover this on your own..." thing. Unfortunately that's the main reason I went in - to get a coffee, breakfast, and get a few hours of work done before hitting the road. Nice atmosphere, good seating. The deluxe avocado toast had everything bagel seasoning on it, which isn't mentioned in the menu, and has a lot of dried onions.

Came in for a Dash first time here . The girl at the register was ignorant. Blurted out immediately when she seen me, Dash isn't ready it's going to be a bit and walked away.. very rude! What happen to Hey how are you doing today. How can I help you ! ?? Then a second later she put Dash on the counter . How did she know that wasn't my Dash. Hmm weird. Ill pass next time I get a order here very rude. Lmao.. THANK YOU so much for the ignorant comment back!!!!!!!!!!!!. It was exactly what I expected from this place !!
