We were served food that had been sitting under the heat lamp and was noticeably not fresh. All Wendy's I've been to are very hit and miss when it comes to their food. The place was empty except for my family.

We were driving through Dubuque on our way to visit family right before Christmas when our van's alternator went out. We were able to pull off the highway and ended up right outside this wendy's. With the temperature near zero degrees we got the kids inside with all of our luggage; and the staff here was so helpful to us as we waited several hours for family to come pick us up. They generously offered to put our cold food in their coolers and gave our kids extra toys from the kiddy meals. They made us feel welcome during a time of uncertainty.
