I stopped in here on a Monday around noon. The place was effectively empty and there were no employees in sight. You could hear a very loud individual basically screaming/yelling from the back room prep kitchen area. They were not upset just loud and obnoxious, overly boisterous would be a great way to describe them and it was quickly clear why the place was empty. After another employee left to go home she pointed out that I was an actual customer and waiting. It'd been probably 5 minutes of standing at the counter listening to the bellowing with no one knowing I was around. I ordered the current advertised special, pulled port BBQ pizza. The boisterous woman had emerged from the back and noted that this was her first pizza, I later found out she's the GM, but her attitude while serving me and her lack of decorum and loud voice made it seem like her first day and she was definitely in my opinion out of control. She didn't even know how to make the pie and had to refer to the menu/recipe several times. My receipt said custom pi even though I picked a named special I believe there was a price difference but it didn't matter. It was negligible. Also she rung me up under another employees name so that was fun for the survey. I got a drink there were no drink lids available. After making my order she disappeared into be back again returning to whatever ruckus they were doing in the kitchen/prep area. You could hear every word this woman said throughout the restaurant ruining any attempt at a reasonable conversation in the dining room. In the upside the pizza was good, the price was reasonable and the speed was well paced. However, after I completed the survey with very similar information. I got a call from the GM and she didn't even apologize she just made excuses about doing a catering order. Considering the lack of customers in the restaurant why they were not peeping the order on the line to see when people walked in is beyond me? Seems logical to do that work where you can keep an eye on your store if you're short staffed? Basically I won't be back to this location, while the pizza is good there's an obvious leadership issue in my opinion, and it's costing this business. There was a line out the door at the neighboring noodle franchise when I arrived and when I left. So there are plenty of customers. If the manager wasn't driving them away. This is a best a 4 star restaurant so I gave you two for good food and fast service.

Pizza was so dry we couldn't eat it. A cardboard box would have been tastier! No sauce on the pizza. I would think they would have asked if we wanted sauce, of it doesn't come with any. Toppings were so sparse, I could count how many green peppers & other toppings on 5 fingers. I ordered xtra cheese, that didn't happen. Overall save your money & eat a cardboard box!

I had some slimy spinach leaves in my salad and brought this to the staff's attention after finishing our meal. One of the staff, a young lady with long blond hair, was very apologetic and offered me a refund right when I was about to leave the restaurant. I appreciate their effort to turn this into a positive experience for me.

I have been to the Dubuque 'Your Pie' many times over the years and it has never failed quality/quantity/price/expectations/hopes. Staff is always courteous and kind, even when swamped!THERE IS ACTUAL UNSWEET TEA, not that premade swill (??) that beverage companies try to sell through their soda machines!ONLY PIZZA I'VE EATEN IN OVER A YEAR, no place else! ❤️

This pizza was so good. It was beautifully made and cut. One stand out thing about my trip there to the store on this past Monday was a guy name Lesly. If I had a business I would want him to be the face of my company. I also hade very fast service.
