Great little find while site seeing in the area! Got a single beignet and loved how light and tasty it was! The staff were friendly and the establishment was very cool inside and out! If you're passing by, stop and visit!

Great hometown coffee place. Loved my coffee and had plenty of room to sit and enjoy. The Beignets were good but I should have gotten a dipping sauce or a little ice cream to go with.

We traveled over an hour to try the beignets after a coworker's recommendation. It was well worth the drive!

We stopped in before our Spooky road trip of Iowa. Intentionally getting off the interstate to stop and support local. Our cashier was very friendly and patient. She helped us pick a couple of coffees and Beignets. But then comes out a tray of their Monster cookies. They were still warm! The things were the size of my face for $3! They had to put it in a normal To Go food container! It was perfection! Coffee and pumpkin spiced Beignets were also great like usual... But the cookie!!! No pic. Had to dive into it immediately.
I love local places like this in small towns. Go support it!

Easily the best coffee, pastries, and breakfast in Dallas county.

Great breakfast burrito! We were just passing through the area and decided to stop- perfectly done and not greasy - will probably stop again on our way back through.

We’ve stopped here twice on road trips because we LOVE this place! The beignets are fabulous, the coffee is great, the service is excellent, and the story behind it says everything about what community should be. Highly recommend - and stay for some conversation. ♥️♥️

Our 1st trip here, drove 30min and didn't disappoint. The beignets were light, fresh and delicious, and I also ordered a breakfast burrito which was huge, fresh and also did not disappoint. Friendly staff and a cozy but old feel atmosphere made a great 1st trip.

Beautiful atmosphere that is bright and cheery. Staff were very helpful and happy. Food was delicious! We ordered the beignets and breakfast sandwich. The coffee was fantastic. Glad we found this cafe as we were driving by.

Feels both upscale and casual. I'd take my mother there after church or my dad there before fishing. The food and coffee were great, tables and overall café clean, and friendly & attentive staff. Worth the drive from Des Moines. Will be back!

Arrived at 1030am 5/11. Drove off the highway on a 3 hour trip because my wife wanted to try this place on mother's day. Door was locked. Sign says it's open. Google currently says it's open. Furious is a good word.

I have a true love for the coffee and beignets in the French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana. My wife and I visit frequently to see family for the holidays. Having said that, there are not a lot of places that offer that sort of nostalgia when we get back to Iowa. Recently, my friend mentioned there was a really great coffee and beignet spot on the corner from where we were working. So, of course, we had to check it out! Boy, were we not disappointed!

Right away, we were greeted by the friendliest staff. They had four different flavors of beignets. Mind you, I’m an old soul and typically go for the classic powdered sugar. However, this time, we tried one of each. There was, of course, the classic powdered sugar, but they also had one with a lemon glaze, one with cinnamon sugar, and, last but not least, the dark horse: a spicy powdered sugar topped with chili powder and hot honey. They all turned out phenomenal.

Each had a softer texture than the beignets I am used to, almost melting in your mouth. Each flavor was fantastic in its own right, but what really surprised me was how much I liked the spicy one. Bring your friends, bring your family—this place is wonderful and has some of the best beignets I have ever had.
