My father bought me a bottle of the Single Barrel and brought it back to me in New Mexico. It is a really good bourbon, molasses and corn dust on the nose with hints of red fruit brightness and a bit of oil on the tongue. It has the right amount of sweetness from the wheat, but has a spicy mid pallet. I get a bit of graham cracker and faint hints of candy cherry and strudel frosting as it leaves into a quick finish with just a linger of spices and clove.
