I’m part of a whisky club that just spent a good 2-3hrs at Lonely Oak for a tasting and cask selection for our group. Pat and Amy are absolutely wonderful and were so great in making our group feel at home. Pat was super knowledgeable in all the details of his distilling operation! You definitely get more out of visiting a small distiller than a “big box store” tour you get in KY. We are so lucky to have wonderful people in this business in Iowa. I hope if you are out in Western Iowa, you should visit and sample some of their products!

I've been on dozens of distillery tours--in Scotland, Ireland, all across Kentucky, and elsewhere. This was the most informative and insightful tour I've ever had. The whiskey was outstanding--seed to spirit is a great way to make a good bourbon. Highly recommended!

This is a great local distillery, with good Bourbon, Vodka, and Rum! Also it’s nice to support local!
