I was talked into trying the Bourbon Burger today instead of my usual breaded tenderloin. Boy was that a mistake, now I have to flip a coin to choose tenderloin or Bourbon burger on my next visit. The Bourbon burger was great and the pretzel bun was fantastic.
Great food. I'm picky about my tenderloin sandwiches (Iowa born and bred), and I love theirs! It's massive and thick and juicy, plus breaded just right. They also have my favorite sweet potato fries (not sugared, lightly salted) that you can get with ranch or syrup. Staff has always been friendly, whether it's slow or slammed. I highly recommend a stop there!
When planning my trip back to Iowa, I knew I had to fit a Chommy's tenderloin into the weekend. I did just that and was not disappointed. Great sandwich served by great people. You did good, Toby.
