It is a typical local bar with basic grill food from the kitchen. Few beers on tap, but selection is limited. A few too many TVs for my taste, but that was the atmosphere especially with Iowa basketball.
Very old school local place. The bartender seemed to know the name of every person who walk through the door while I was sitting there for lunch. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was not good. The price was right for what I got. Looks like a great place to hang out with friends and have a few drinks.
Excellent lunch specials, especially on Friday and Saturday where Friday. Friday is burritos and enchiladas and they are quite filling and served with a very tasty salsa and Saturday's special is a Rueben with home made chips. The Ruebens are the best in the area and worth it on their own and the chips are a bonus and worth stopping for on their own.
