Reserved his catering service for over 6 weeks....had used him last year.
Ordered Burnt Ends, Pulled Pork and Wings.
called him this morning to confirm our pick up time.. phone rang and rang...then it says he hasn't set up his mailbox yet.
so I texted him it was 11:40 am.
remember we were to pick up all this meat at 3:30 today. ( he had NOT REACHED out to me, until I texted him.
he replies back shortly, sorry I won"/ be able to do your order today...I think I hurt my knee last night.

after asking him what are we suppose to do fir our family Christmas...his response..I will give you a $150 credit on next order.
NO, NO NO...there will be NO NEW ORDERS with CCB.
He referred us to his family business. said they would take care of us.
Jim's Rib Haven. so now we have to drive to Rock Island, too.
Got pulled pork - 5 # cost us $152.00
no wings, no burnt ends.
so we continued to Sam's Club - got last one rack of ribs - needed 5(all gone for the day ).
Next, call Texas Roadhouse for remainder ribs and burnt ends. $192.00 more
so still.no boneless chicken wings, but $344.00 later..( he had quoted us $166.00 for all the meat because we used him.before and tipped well...so more than double...
we will have our Christmas Family Dinne- NO THANKS TO HIM.
I asked him to personally call me.
.HE DID NOT.
4 hours later he has not even followed up to see how we ended up

We found a one person hamburger restaurant that fronts a golf course. Step up to the window to order. There's also a bar inside where you can order tea and soft drinks separately. Plastic utensils. Good parking with wheel chair entrance.

I loved the pulled pork nachos. The chips were freshly fried, crispy and delicious. The ribs are made to perfection. I highly recommend CC&B. I will definitely go back for more.
