Delicious and proper croissants! Unfortunately, it was the only thing in the store I could eat. Everything in the store was sugar heavy cookies or donuts. I was looking for a loaf of sourdough bread (or any savory bread really) and savory pastries, but they only had white bread and plain croissants. Minus one star for the lack of non-sugar items.
After our first experience here years ago, we can’t wait to come back every year while we are trout fishing in the area. Quaint and old-fashioned because it is what it is! An original! Nothing fancy. Baked there by hard-working ppl who know how to bake! They get there in the weee hours of the morning to bake there and greet you politely without gushing out a canned corporate-required fake greeting!How can anybody give this less than 5 stars? I would love it if they served coffee,...
I have been eating these delicious baked goods since I was little, and they have never been anything but fabulous. These are the only donuts in the world that I will eat. <3 :)
