The best kolaches and bakery goods I’ve ever had, and by far the best in Iowa! Run by a wonderful family. We got here late but there were still so many great selections and everything we had was delicious. We’ll be back early next time!

Three stars only because there hours of operation (Friday-Saturday) only. Many people work weekends and only can make it on week day. I'll never have a chance to try there pastry.

I saw a post on Facebook about My mom's bakery so when I went to Cedar Rapids to visit family I just had to go and check it out. Unfortunately for me there wasn't much left by the time I got there. But, Sherri was so sweet she managed to get a dozen for me before I left town! Her kolaches are absolutely amazing! Can't wait to go back and try some of her other goodies! Thank you Sherri for being so kind! If you haven't been there GO! They are delicious!!

Just wow. Such an easy & successful ordering experience. We are from out of town & needed 3 dozen Kolaches. My husband texted & spoke with Sherry several times before we picked them up on a Saturday morning.

This family run shop is everything a small town bakery should be. Since there very limited seating, I would plan to get your goods to go. You are going to greeted and served kindly by the staff. While I’ve enjoyed everything baked here, the kolaches are the best I’ve had EVER. The dough, the filling…perfection. To get the kolaches, you’ll need to be there before 8 am as they sell out every morning. If you do come later in the morning the quiche is very good-I’ve comforted myself more than once when the kolaches are sold out.

I love this place! Each visit to Cedar Rapids Iowa I have to stop there. They have kolaches just like my mom used to make when I was a child.
