Spent a lovely day in the area and was driven to the door of the White Oak Grille by a local patron who gave me no choice to grab a bite there before my 6 hour drive home. The prices were less than half of what I usually spend eating out, so I do very little. I made mention of this to the lovely gals working and I was a little surprised to hear that they actually received complaints on the pricing from the locals. Shame! Come to my neck of the woods and you'll be hard-pressed...
Strangers in Centerville recommended this little gem when we asked for a good place to eat, stating their homemade coconut pie was amazing. I got the Cacker Sandwich and my boyfriend got the Forman. The sandwiches were large AND you got 2 sides. So I got Tots and coleslaw and he got Tots and green beans. We also had 2 teas and took 2 slices of pie home. I got the chocolate cream, he got the coconut. EVERYTHING was delicious and the pies were the absolute best and the price...
White Oak Grill is the best! Good food and wonderful, friendly staff. You won’t find better service! The Cackler sandwich is awesome, especially with the sweet potato fries. Worth a trip to check it out!
