We visited the Harbor Inn (AKA Admiral Inn) for a planned event but what a great surprise! The food was excellent and they have preserved a slice of SW Iowa history. The atmosphere was open and comfortable. If you're traveling on Hwy 2 from here to there it's only a slight detour to a wonderful experience. One caution, their hours seem a bit irregular so it might do you to make sure they're open. It's worth your time and effort.
