Tiny town Iowa, interesting little place, we ate in the bar area, there are more dining rooms, meeting rooms. Atmosphere, definitely local people, clearly regulars, loud talkers with colorful language, lots of interesting gossip. Nice staff, our waitress was super proud of the menu, telling us about the different nightly specials. Our food was good, shared mushroom burger, decent. Rueben bites good, pickle fries good. We have been there several times the food is delicious!! But tonight for the first time I got charged for 2 iced teas because I asked for a second refill so I got charged for a second order said only one free refill that’s stupid!!!
me and one of my co-workers came into the North Star tonight and had supper I had the steak and it was very delicious in the potato with excellent and she had the burger and onion rings and it was to die for they have super awesome food and super friendly staff I tip my hat off to them one of the best places to eat at 🫶🙂👍☺️.
