This is one of those small town gems! It's a small bar and grill with great food and beer on tap. The service is always top notch as well! If you are looking for a hidden gem on Northeast Iowa, I hight recommend The Fort!
The staff were so kind and fantastic. I love the small town feel and how they treated the regulars and the newcomers. My coffee was always full and was checked on regularly. I kid you not, the absolute best fried pickles I have ever had. This was my first time, but I know this will be a stop every time I'm in Fort Atkinson or Calmar.
Awesome a great place to go. Great food I would suggest everyone try the "chicken dumplings soup" it is outstanding. Great service even when it is really busy. Hometown atmosphere n it is great.
