The food is so good! The portions are huge. I have enough left over to have lunch for a couple of days.

We stopped in for 2 reasons, pretty good overall reviews and it was right next door to our hotel. Not a good experience to say the least. First impression was positive, nice decor, generally friendly staff, but it was down hill from there. Sat at the bar, ordered drinks and their "award winning" prime rib special, and it was easily one of the worst cuts of meat ever. Served rather cold with a tasteless, likely canned au jus, barely warmed up baked potato, and just acceptable salad with only lettuce, croutons, and a tomato wedge (8 oz., $25). Would have just written it off as a bad meal, we will never likely be back ever anyway, but then a couple sits down next to us, the man asks for a plastic cup and napkin, then, to our amazement, starts spitting away. We couldn't believe it! As if the food didn't pretty much already take care of it, completely turned our stomachs. Is this an Iowa thing? I asked the waitress who hooked him up if this was allowed, she looked at me, rather annoyed, and said, "Of course not......" I shrugged my shoulders, assured her we would not be back, and we left. If the spitter had arrived before us, no way we would have stayed for food. The couple appeared to be regulars, so just be aware that this is in fact permitted, oh, and don't order the prime rib!

Finally we got around to going to this resturaunt. It's the same menu as the sister bar & grill. Which means the food is awesome as always. The remodel of the whole place breathes new life to it. The staff are learning, that said- we were told there was a 10 minute wait. So we sat at the bar, which we were able to order our appetizer and dinner before the table became available. The food was spot on. The flavors complemented the Horseshoe (see menu or my photo) the sidewinders potatoes matched well with the sauce.
Vegetarian options: They have only two options as far as seafood. And their salads are not vegetarian friendly.
Parking: You will have some trouble on a busy night. But generally speaking, it's pretty good usually.
Kid-friendliness: They have a coloring sheet with five options.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor makes it easy. Bathrooms are a different story.

Called in a pick up order of food, came in to have a drink while waiting for food but nobody behind the bar, asked a waitress if we could get a drink, she said yes, soon as she gets time, she came behind the bar and waited on others that had already been served.. our food eventually came out so no drinks.. got home , cold burger..for two sandwiches with fries 38$ I feel it should be hot.. second time the food has been cold.. slow and rather rude service.. doubt we return
