Not a bad Mexican place at all! But I didn't enjoy the breakfast burrito that much, it was too meat and beans forward. Just too much salt for my taste, really needs more eggs, some pico de gallo, and maybe some potatoes. Not bad, just not something I'd seek out.
Portions were generous, but pricing is about average, not great but not bad for how much you get. Salsa/hot sauce was fantastic tho. Friendly staff. Considering the cost and taste, not for me but I think many people will enjoy!

Carlito’s Place is a true hidden gem. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and it’s clear they know their regulars by name which says a lot about the kind of place this is. The menu offers a great mix of classic café breakfasts, authentic Mexican dishes, and American favorites, so there’s something for everyone. The breakfast burrito was massive and absolutely delicious, especially with the smoky, spicy hot sauce they brought out on request. Our son loved the silver dollar pancakes. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

I hate to make this review but I think it’s important for others. We’ve ate here every time we are in town. About 3 times now. Well, we went Saturday the 4 of us and boy do we regret it. 3/4 of us had the ground beef tacos each with different toppings (some with sour cream lettuce, some with just meat and cheese) well the 3 of us all got diarrhea bad and cramps within 20 mins and it lasted several hours. My son had the chicken and had no issues. I don’t know what was wrong with the meat but it’s worrisome enough for us that I don’t think we’ll risk coming back. Service is great but for the sake of our guts we just can’t.

We had some great service from Maria who recommended their Birria taco and it did not disappoint. I have had many Birria tacos across the world and theirs are really good. Among the best. Salsa was great loved the red tomatillo salsa not too spicy and very tasty. The homemade tortilla chips were great. On top of that the prices were very economical 10/10.
