The waitresses are always quick to get you a table or menu. Offered a drink while I decided on my to-go order. I used to work there and will always only say good things because the staff and owner are the best people. The waitresses offered me an extra table here and there not bc they weren't driven but just to help out bc they could. I was so used to cut throat co-workers in the industry i thought there must be something I didn't know about. But, don't hear my admiration and take my review as blindness to the experience. Their staff is professional. I love their skillets more than any other restaurants around. Soup. Mmmm. Also, the new floors are better for asthmatic customers. I'm sure it's not a cheap remodel in this economy so props to the owner.

Food was awful, waitress was very rude and hard to grab her attention when needed, rolled her eyes several times.. gave the wrong orders to everyone at the table my dad was with us and had late stage dementia.. she was rude to him. When explained the situation she didn't care at all. Left no tip. No Return visit.

Horrible food this am. Ordered sausage biscuits and gravy and the biscuits wasn't cooked all the way and there was not one piece of sausage. French toast w strawberries was so drenched in strawberry glaze and whip cream that you couldn't even get to the French toast to eat it. Another person at our table had a breakfast sandwhich and the cheese was so hard they couldn't even eat it. However the skillets were good and shredded hash browns was awesome.

Wow! Terrific hand cut battered chicken breast strips. Got a lot more than expected. Our mashed potatoes and gravy were top notch. My wife loved the chicken noodle soup, not from a can for sure. Service was fast. A top notch dinner. We will be back next time we’re in town. Ken Koren Rockville, IN

my uncle was home from Alaska. my wife n I were one of 30 people to sit.1.5 hrs later everyone was finished eating n we couldn't get a drink.told them to shove it up their backside.not my exact words n left.wil never open their door again

Was recommended this restaurant during our short stay in town. Now, I would recommend Fort Colony Restaurant. Great food, great prices & fantastic service. Everyone was very friendly & outgoing. They treated us like we had been coming there for years! Our server Kindra was the coolest!
We ordered carry-out and I got the fried chicken half order, it was the BEST FRIED CHICKEN I have had since moving to Iowa don't CHANGE ANYTHING

Food was ok. Gravy was pretty good .Oct 3rd 2024, tried lunch, liver onions was pretty good. Mash potatoes & gravy was cold and taste processed . Corn was cold too. Mentioned it when I left, they told me a excuse.
