As others have said, if you have the time drive somewhere else. The sauce is nothing more than tomato sauce, has no flavor, no taste, all blah! The tacos al pastor were by far the worst I've had. I even suggested that the cook take a trip to Texas to learn how to cook. The only saving grace is the waitress was very nice so I felt obligated to give her a tip. I won't be a repeat customer.

It has changed management several times, although the food has kept the high standards no matter who is running it. With only three restaurants that serve Fort Madison, you have to be doing something right. The Food: hot and fresh ingredients and they know how to keep you coming back for more. While we have been here for years, I still try new items, with my favorites. The Chile Releano is my personal favorites, anything with their Rojas (red) sauce is great with their refried beans and rice. They have tortas (a bunch with a crispy exterior and soft center. It's excellent. The service is where they sometimes don't have enough of. They do their best though. The Atmosphere: traditional hand-painted murals and vibrant colors give you that authentic feeling.
