This place is newly remodeled but it is the dirtiest restaurant I have seen.. 21 tables in here and at minimum 18 are dirty.. stacks of trays on the trash can. almost under every table have fries and floor is gross. There is only one other person inside and they are not busy.. you can definitely tell there is no leadership and poor management.

Understaffed very obviously. Which always falls back on management. Staff are rightfully frustrated, which I believe is making them take everything less seriously. Long story short, poor management and staffing is hindering performance.

NOTE TO THE OWNER OF THIS LOCATION: I see several replies to reviews with you saying you want to help. And posting a link for feedback. Obviously what you’re doing is NOT working. How about get out and MANAGE YOUR BUSINESS, spend some time at this location and train these people correctly. As with most McDonalds, this place is hit and miss. With mostly misses. But I like Sausage egg McMuffins. So I continue to roll the dice. As a whole, customer service at McDonald’s nationwide is a thing of the past. This location in particular is at the bottom. Orders placed through a kiosk. Your order thrown on the counter as your number is called as they turn and shuffle quickly to the back before you can reach the counter without a “thank you” or can I get you “anything”. Once my presence was acknowledged and I almost passed out from shock.

Really hate being kept in line for 30 mins when there is only 2 other cars here. No one came on the speaker to tell any of us anything then when we get to the window the manager is rude and has clearly been eating. If kids were not hungry we would have left. This is getting worse and worse in Fort Madison! I would not recommend!

Every time I order a large meal. They only give me half the fries I paid for. And they’re soggy and cold. Do better!
We ordered off the app and waited in the drive thru for 5 minutes with no service, but the other lane had service. Went inside to tell them and had to ask for someone to wait on us. When we finally got waited on we let the manager know about the issue and she didn't seem to care. It was just an all around bad experience

The restaurant is very nice, the service is horrible. We went in on a Sunday morning..waited forever to get our food which was cold. Drove thru the drive thru last night, again the food was cold..hardly any ice in our drinks. Asked for a cup of ice..she handed it to us, didn't say a word. We won't be back.

Usually this McDonald's is fine during the day. At night, all the employees are outside. & taking their sweet time making the food. Was there for over a half hour last night picking up an order I placed online. Usually I won't complain, it's fast food. It's not good anyways. But I got my burgers & something smelled just a little off. I still ate it even though I shouldn't have. This morning I have food poisoning.
