This meal was an exemplary end of a wonderful day. The food was delicious. The atmosphere so comfortable and engaging. The team of owners create a welcoming, warm, and friendly environment. There is kitsch… art… great location… and the lighting makes for a romantic night for this old married couple. Let me say a few more things about the food! The flavors and presentation were amazing! And we couldn’t even wait for photos for the desserts.

Food was amazing every thing was so fresh! The owner who was our server and cook was very friendly talked to him after we finished lunch. Don't skip desert we had the key line bars. Just very good fresh food! (I had a shrimp wrap) .

Like most other reviews, I would have never expected a restaurant of this quality to be in Ft Madison. The food was amazing. Menu appears to change every day since it's written on a large chalk board. Will absolutely eat here again next time in town. I suggest reservations. I was unsure of the hours, so we showed up about 4:30 and asked if we had a reservation for 5. We did not but they were kind enough to get us in as a walk up. It got very busy shortly after 5 and several parties were turned away.
