A Must-Visit in Gowrie! Mulligans in Gowrie, Iowa absolutely blew me away! The ham balls were incredibly flavorful, the homemade mashed potatoes with corn were pure comfort-food perfection, and every bite tasted just like something straight from a family kitchen. The service was outstanding! Very friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment I walked in. You can tell the owner & staff really cares about creating a great experience. The ambience is warm and inviting, and the view overlooking the golf course adds a peaceful, scenic touch that makes the meal even more enjoyable. If you’re anywhere near Gowrie, do yourself a favor and stop at Mulligans. Delicious food, great service, and a charming atmosphere. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend!

We were the only customers. It was the middle of Tuesday afternoon. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Cheeseburger was delicious with a toasted bun and pepper jack cheese at my request. Fries had a seasoned salt and cooked perfectly. Waitress was attentive and checked our table during our meal a couple times to see if we needed anything. My friend ordered a blt- and she said it was delicious as well. There was a perfect view of the golf course out our window, and a nice deck available to eat outside during warmer weather. And, no music blasting so we were able to hear each other. A great place to go for a nice lunch. The only issue I had was that the restrooms were only accessible by going downstairs-- I have mobility problems.

They hosted a Monster Arm Wrestling tournament on Friday February 23 and we had a wonderful time!
Always a good time. Staff is friendly and the food is great. Very reasonably priced drinks. Would like to see them hold more special events like karaoke or a live band from time to time.
