I really wanted to love this location as a person who is new to the area, I have given this particular Caribou, the benefit of the doubt multiple times and I have had three bad experiences in a row. The first experience, I was late for work because I was in the drive-through for over 20 minutes. Some may argue that this is on me for choosing to get a coffee on my way to work but it shouldn’t take over 20 minutes to get a coffee. The second time I was apologized to for the wait, given a one dollar off coupon received my drink, and that was my second long wait, the third time I received the wrong drink, the wrong breakfast sandwich, however I did receive an apology for the long wait and it was explained to me that the person was alone at that moment and working the drive-through by themselves. The issue I have is that I’m a tipper, I have a hard time not tipping when I am handed the machine so I always tip (again, on me) but when I am spending $11 –12 on coffee and a breakfast sandwich and it has been incorrect or has taken an excessively long period of time, I struggle with that. I hope this Caribou gets a solid staff because this is a great location and hopefully they get their morning system dialed in as lots of people want coffee on their way to work!

This location is my least favorite and is unfortunately the closest to my home. The constant upselling attempts are exhausting. You can’t order without having to spend 5 minutes saying no 8 different times. Before your coffee, you don’t understand how annoying this is honestly, especially after going more than 15 times.
Let me take you through my interaction I have every time trying to just get my coffee.
I’ll take a medium iced Carmel high rise. “Can I upgrade you to a large for 50 cents” NO “Can I get you an extra shot today” No. “Can I interest you in any food items today?” No, “Is there anything else I can get you today?” Yes, I need a small iced white mocha. “Would you like to upgrade to a medium for 30 cents more?” No. “Would you like an extra shot today” NO. “Is there anything else I can get you today” No.

There was a line and service was just a bit slow. None of that bothered me. The lady that took my order up sold me on an extra shot on both drinks and talked me into lemon bread. Had a laugh with the lady on the end of the speaker. I had an excellent experience.
