Usually love Culver’s but tonight got my burger and meat was cold….. would have taken it to counter but there were at least 15 people in line waiting to order
First bad experience here and the way it was handled has me not wanting to ever return. For a couple years we have made a weekly stop at this location after my daughter’s gymnastics. Tonight we used the drive-up as always, paid at the window and received our number tag and pulled forward to wait. There were a couple of other cars waiting as well. As time passed those other cars received their orders and moved on and in came another batch of cars and they too received theirs and left. After :25 and a third wave of vehicles were moved on I finally decided to pull around and go in. This is where it went from bad to worse, I took my number tag and walked up to the empty counter (also nobody dining inside either) I stood at the counter for a few minutes without anybody even noticing me but eventually a young man came to the register. I handed him my hanger tag and stated how by this time it had been over :30 and we had not received the 2 tender kids meal I’d ordered. He typed around on the monitor and had a puzzled look on his face, he proceeded to tell me there was no pending order to match that tag number. I brought up my banking app and showed where I’d clearly been charged for an order and would like it resolved. After a bunch of more monitor work he was apologetic and got working on the custard himself and when he returned with it he stated he’d bring the food out to me and include a few meal vouchers for the trouble. After just a couple minutes he did come out with the food but stated he wasn’t sure where the vouchers were and he was sorry for all the trouble but there was no manager on site and there was nothing he could do. This may be a sad way for our patronage to end.
It was very busy. They must be doing something right.
Ordered shakes with flat top lids. got shakes without. I told Noah twice that they needed flat top lids when he brought them out. He didn't listen and proceeded to take the shakes out of the carrier and said "You can try to get the lids on them" after coming back with just the lids. Samir rectified the situation.

Tried to go through the drive through on homecoming night of local football game. I arrived 3 minutes past 10 and they wouldn't take my order.

I love Culver’s a lot but this isn’t the first time I had an issue with the location messing up when there is absolutely no rush going. I have worked in the fast food industry before and I understand little mistakes can happen such as forgetting mayo and ketchup but those mistakes shouldn’t happen when there are only two costumers. That is just carelessness on their part. 4 stars on food cause of this being not the first time it has happened. 1st time I waited almost an hour for a concrete mixer when they were slow. This is review is just to show what they need to work on because again I used to work fast food and I was management so I understand crap happens. But please try to better.

I had gone through the drive thru and gotten a medium vanilla custard with reeces. I come here maybe two times a week and this is the first time I’ve had to ask them to remake something. First, they hand it to me through the window and I notice it’s just the custard. I went into the restaurant after turning around and I’m sure they were just tired but they were not very “enthusiastic” about helping me. I apologized and they took it to add more into it but when it came back it looked the exact same and tasted the exact same. Pretty disappointed.
edit: I had to put it in the freezer at home to chill it because you could drink it out of the cup before and after.

I moved here (Grimes, IA) a year ago and I frequent this Culver's several times a month. I use to frequent the one on Nicollet Ave in Bloomington,
MN which literally never messed up my order, never lacked in portion sizes, and was speedy and friendly. First time I visited Grimes in May 2023 the service was not great (very slow & hygiene of a certain employee almost caused me to stop going here), but the food was good. Portions of fries were lacking though. A few months ago service began to improve as well as the portion sizes of fries until recently. Been there twice this week and fries were MAYBE half full both visits. Not to mention the shakes/malts were only 3/4 full. This location needs to figure it out.
