Nice, clean, and neat restaurant. The service was prompt, professional, and friendly. I had the chimichanga and tamale combination. Large portion and came quickly. Familiar Mexican restaurant menu, but tasty and prepared well.
Eating at Hacienda Vieja is a pleasure from beginning to end. The food is brought out fast and full of flavor. The portions are large and prices are sensible. Hacienda has a very welcoming atmosphere to offer. Whether you’re sitting inside or outside on the patio, the energy is contagious and always puts me in a good mood! Although the drink menus are a little vague. All it takes is asking the staff about the drinks to learn the ins and outs the bar has to offer! The drinks are brought to the tables swiftly and taste delicious! I would recommend their award winning Signature Shaker Margarita, and they have over 10 different flavors to try! The service here is exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by the polite staff ready to guide you to your table. The servers are attentive but not intrusive and very knowledgeable about the menus! Overall, the quality and service of this restaurant is outstanding!

Four of us ate at Hacienda Vieja today for lunch. The food was better than most Mexican restaurants.
To start, they bring chips, salsa and cheese dip, which was all good. However, the salsa is a bit on the spicy side. I asked for another bowl of each. They did not tell me at the time I asked for it but additional bowls of cheese dip are $3.50. I felt like I should have been told at the time I asked for it.
Also, if one person is dining alone, they get the same amount of chips, salsa and cheese sauce as a table of four people. I feel that the amount of cheese sauce should be proportionate to the number of people at the table.
Regardless, the food, price and service was good. The food came out fast. The staff was friendly and efficient.
When the bills arrived, they were not correct. I had a fajita, a side of guacamole, and a side of sour cream. They only billed me for the fajita and, to my surprise, the cheese sauce because I am the one who asked for it. They put my guacamole and sour cream on another person's bill. We had to ask for it to be re-done, which was confusing the staff. But we got it worked out.
I would definitely return to this restuarant when I am in the area but it is not a "must go back" experience. Basically, Just good food, price and service resulting in a mostly pleasurable experience.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. Everything we've had has been delicious. The carne asada was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The queso was creamy and delicious, making it the perfect appetizer. The salsa is fantastic, it has just the right amount of kick, complementing every dish wonderfully.
