The coffee is very good. Lots of fun options. Service is good. I met a friend for coffee in the morning, and was starving and looking for a mildly healthy choice. They do have gluten free options but they were all pretty sugary. I opted for the breakfast burrito which was fine. You’re in a strip mall so the atmosphere was a bit sterile. If you just want a good cup of coffee you’re there.

We visited here this morning and it is a place I walked away wanting to share with others. It was a bright and cheery place to walk into, the customer service of the owners was welcoming, and the coffee was good!

The best coffee shop in the DSM area! They roast their own coffee beans, craft their own syrups, and offer a single drink size to perfect the espresso-to-milk ratio. (Pro tip: Buying larger sizes at other coffee shops only nets you more milk, diluting the flavors. These folks get it. Craving more coffee? Get two!) Every step in their process has been carefully planned to give you the smoothest, best-tasting lattes in town! And they have rotating seasonal specialty drinks to keep you coming back!
Vanilla lavender latte is AMAZING! Owners are super friendly, all over great coffee shop!

TOP TIER COFFEE, STAFF, AND HANGS.
I’m from Minneapolis where there is an incredibly vibrant Third Wave culture and came to Des Moines for work. Lightbrite came across my radar and I wanted to check it out.
Coffee was excellent. I got a shot of spro and some batch brew. Both were incredibly giving coffees with some nice complexity to satisfy both those who have been in the specialty world for a bit and those who are new to the world of more-complex coffee profiles.
I got to chat with the owners Matt and Megan for a bit and learn the ethos of the shop. Both are incredibly kind people who care about servicing their community and cherishing their customers. Good folks that you should talk to when you have the chance.
Cafe vibe is great, you should go it’s a good time.

As a coffee enthusiast and home espresso maker, this is up there with just a few other 3rd wave coffee shops in the metro with superior quality coffee beans. The service is always quick and friendly, and they have a great menu with rotating seasonal specials, such as espresso tonics with various bitters/flavors, which are my favorite. The space is clean, light, modern, and organized. My go to spot when I need whole bean coffee for home or when I want a great quality espresso drink. Nowhere better in the metro.

Big thumbs up! I got the golden hour latte (miel). My husband got a chai latte. Both were exceptional. The atmosphere is chill but a little on the louder coffeeshop music side.

I love this coffee shop! It's my go to spot when visiting the area - coffee is delicious! I normally order a cortado or a little buddy.

Friendly baristas, cool vibe. Love the rotating seasonal menus featuring interesting ingredients like tonic water or clove-infused honey. Don't expect dark roasty type coffee here - it's more of a bright flavor. If you've never tried that, this is a great place to give it a go. Food options are limited but tasty - breakfast burritos and sometimes pastries from Jess Desserts.

Had dropped in to grab a vanilla latte and cortado but were disappointed. This was our second visit and second time ordering a vanilla latte and we weren’t very happy of the taste. The latte was extremely sweet and Cortado extremely bitter. Unfortunately since it was a take away we had drove off a few miles before we tasted it and couldn’t return to get it fixed or remade.

Amazing little coffee shop! We’re visiting from out of state and decided to try a local place. We were not disappointed - the coffee/lattes were excellent! Will be sure to visit again next time we’re in the area!
