Just passing thru Iowa stopped at this little coffee shop with my daughter, the guy behind the counter is super nice, coffee is really good! If I lived in Des Moines I would be here every morning!!
The owner, Luke, is an incredibly friendly man who remembers everyone's name and their order if you're a regular. Most drinks are pretty good. Not the highest quality coffee and he doesn't roast his own beans, but his service is excellent and he's a local guy who cares about customers and is fun to see each time.
I have had coffee made by Luke for 15 years! I'm not a regular customer due to living far away, but I make a point to swing in and say hello and order "my usual" everytime. great people, great coffee, and overall awesome place.
