Extremely slow drive thru. They have you pull ahead, and then you sit for 10+ min. Takes almost as long as a sit down restaurant. Slowest I've EVER been to.

Just to have to wait and see everyone else that was in line with me to leave.someone walks up toMe asked me what I had just to not come back. Three times in a row they've forgotten burgers, sauces, hash browns. They obviously don't check the bag before sending it out. Last week they gave me someone else's food.

Pulled in there was only one car ahead of me..I get my order taken pretty quicklyThen they say pull forward to the next windowNo problem…I pull up no one is there I wait a few seconds and then think maybe they ment second windowGet to the second window and I hear behind me HELLLLLOOOOOOO HELLLOOOOOYOU PAY BACK HEREEEEE !!!I say no one was there..She says YES I WAS…If she was I wouldn’t of left that window..Then she comes up front and argues with meShe takes my card and points to the back of the store and says you pay back there..I said there wasn’t anyone thereYOU PAY BACK THERE.. BACK THERE BACK THEREthis was beyond rude I haven’t had such bad service in many many years..In fact I usually go out of my way to give good reviews.. but absolutely terrible.. definitely will go to another restaurant on my way to work instead…Good thing for them people cant give zero stars ⭐️Giving people such terrible service before they start their day..Absolutely insane…

We ordered two happy meals for our kids for dinner. Neither meal was given to us with the juice we ordered and our cheeseburger came without the cheese. This place can’t ever get it right. Also, each French fry came with a total of 10 and 11 French fries. I won’t be going back.

I’m not even gonna take time for punctuation on this. I’m a trucker and I’ve went through a lot of fast food drive-through, but this has got to be by far the worst it takes 20 minutes to get a number one it takes 45 minutes standing to get the order correct in the first place every car at this place but one will be pulled forward until the parking lot is completely full when you try to pull out, it is utterly ridiculous. Any other McDonald’s in the Des Moines and surrounding areas does not take this long. They either need to hire more people or do something different because what they’re doing is not working, especially when there’s other restaurants that are better across the street

If you go to the Grimes Iowa location just assume your order is wrong and after going through the drive through just go back in so they can correct it or settle for whatever they happen to give you.

I was ordering at the drive through and half way through ordering the person stopped taking my order. After about 10 minutes had passed and multi cars had made it through the other lane I had to call this locations phone number for them to take my order. There were several cars behind me and we were all waiting with no idea what was going on. All that for cold mcnuggets and they forgot the sauce. No apology other than a shrug at the window.
