Outstanding cellar atmosphere that serves a wide variety of German beers. Underground setting naturally maintained a refreshingly cool temperature, which was welcomed on a hot summer day. Service was top notch. Very much look forward to returning in the future!

Unique N.E. Iowa experience. Reminded me a bit of a 20's speak easy. Lights were off on the street and the big antique wood door was open just a crack. Walk through a narrow, dark hallway to the back where a set of steep stairs lead you down into a stone cellar with picnic bench seating and a tiny bar serving only German beers. Conversation was lively and friendly. Check before you go, its seasonal and occupancy is 50 some.

Extremely cool cellar bar extremely nice and pretty bartender/owner extremely large and varied selection of all German beers and the bartender is extremely knowledgeable about all of them couldn't think of a cooler place to drink German beers
