Excellent food with interesting options. Get a warm cookie, so good! The beer is always interesting and very good. I had a hibiscus honey that was quite hoppy, my mom had a blueberry beer that was perfection! The staff is warm and friendly.

Smh! Doesn't even smell like coffee for being a coffee shop smells like burnt food! Got a growler of Blueberry beer and it tasted like soap, so we called to see if we could get another one and it's always a argument. It's never the customers fault only Kathy's way.

Wonderful brewed flavored coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Haven't had lunch there yet, but I'm certain it will be great as well.

It was a nice building. Ordered a caramel toasted marshmallow frappe, turned out tasting like a Vanilla Bean.It was alright.

My husband and I live in Chicago but were traveling through Iowa from Waterloo to Cherokee on Rt 3 for a few family reunions and were entering the small town of Hampton. I did a quick look on Yelp to see the options for lunch. The Rustic Brew surfaced as having quite a few good ratings and reviews. So we decided to give it a chance. It did not disappoint. The interior decor is welcoming and the people working there friendly. My husband had the daily special - lasagna. I had the grilled cheese with bacon. It felt like we were dropping by a friend or family member's home for lunch. Fresh ice tea. Great food. The prices were so reasonable! We talked to the owner at the end of the meal and heard more about the double meaning of "brew" - coffee and beer. Her husband is the brewmaster and has some great beers. Wish we could have stayed to drink a bit. Would definitely go back if we were ever in the area.

Awful place for coffee. I was hesitant upon walking in, as it had not even the faintest whiff of coffee. Asked for a caramel, toasted marshmallow frappe. Received what tasted like a plastic vanilla bean shake. They ended up in the trash. Super disappointed to spend the $ expecting coffee.
