The food is OK. Ice cream is awesome. Prices are affordable. The only downfall is that they closed the dining room during covid and still have not reopened it. Your only option is a drive-thru that seriously needs updated. There are pot holes, and you have to make a u-turn in the parking lot to get to the drive-thru.
We ordered lunch today for the Farm Credit office. I came with a large order and the order was taken with a smile and didn’t feel rushed. It was done quickly and without mistake. After I paid for it and was about to pull away the owner came back from the kitchen to personally thank me for such a big order. He said that it means a lot to them and that they appreciated our business. This made me take a pause and realize how important it is to support all of our small restaurants...
Hate being the one that pulls in right at close, but that was us tonight. 😔
The two border-fare employees greeted us with a smile and were just as accommodating and sweet as ever.
