Stopped in from out of town. Was awesome. Pancakes were a plateful and delicious. 2 egg omelette with everything was also great. Got a homemade apple pie to go, fresh from the oven.
My small town in Wisconsin would be lucky to have a place like Jimmy D's. We traveled to Hawkeye to meet up with a friend from central Iowa and to visit a well-known local plant nursery (a must-see attraction!). Hawkeye is tiny town with a lot of splash of character and local charm and Jimmy D's fit the bill as the perfect place for us to meet for lunch.
